In order to work on the development of the school offers a possibility of receiving volunteers from overseas. The volunteers will be able to support in the following aspects
- To introduce other subjects e.g. drawing and colouring, brick building, jigsaw puzzles, sports, physical exercise games, story telling etc.
- Make the kids used to be with foreigners, so they learn not to run and shout, when a foreigner (tourist) pass.
- Give the kids and teachers a chance of meeting another culture and understand that there are both similarities and differences
For this work the volunteer can use the donation (see general description) for buying paper, crayons, a ball for playing, other relevant items.
The pictures are from St. Joseph's kindergarden under the Roman Catholic Church. The Lutheran Church runs a similar nursery.
The work in the nursery is expected only to take up a part of the day. In the afternoon the volunteer can be tutoring elder students in English, mathematics and other relevant subjects.
